Lankan Chicken Wraps

Juicy, spiced chicken cooked with fragrant curry leaves, garlic, and chili, paired with a creamy coconut yogurt sauce, and wrapped up with fresh veggies in soft flatbreads. These wraps are bursting with bold flavors and make a perfect quick lunch, meal prep option, or weeknight dinner. Easy to make, fun to eat, and packed with a spicy-sweet Sri Lankan twist!

Lankan Chicken Wraps

Ingredients

  • 5 skinless, boneless chicken thighs (cubed)
  • 1/4 cup of sugar
  • 1 tsp of garlic powder
  • 1 tsp of salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp curry powder
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1/2 cup of Greek yoghurt
  • 1” knob of ginger
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 2 green chili
  • 1 habanero pepper
  • Raita sauce
  • Wrap toppings

Directions

  1. Marinate chicken with all the spices and greek yoghurt for 30mins.
  2. In a pan, heat oil over medium high heat and toast garlic, green chili and habanero pepper.
  3. Add in marinated chicken and cook until edges are slight brown.
