I know most of you hate eggnog, but you have not tried this boozy eggnog is the ultimate holiday indulgence—rich, creamy, and perfectly spiked with your choice of rum, bourbon, or brandy. Made with fresh eggs, warm spices, and a hint of vanilla, it’s a festive classic that’s as smooth as it is flavorful. Boozy Egg Nog
Ingredients
- 1 egg (white and yolk seperated)
- 1 1/2 tsp of sugar
- 1 oz of Baileys Irish Cream
- 3/4 oz of Whiskey (I used Alberta Premium – soo good!)
- 1/2 oz of milk
- Ice
- Sprinkle of nutmeg (optional – for garnish)
- Star Anise (optional – for garnish)
- Gingerbread cookie (optional – for garnish)
Directions
- Whisk the egg yolk and sugar until well combined.
- Add the mixture to a cocktail shaker, followed by the egg white and remaining ingredients.
- Add ice and shake vigorously.
- Strain the cocktail into a glass, then sprinkle with nutmeg and garnish with a star anise and a gingerbread cookie.
