Sri Lankan Chicken wiNGS
Ingredients
- 1.5 kg of chicken wings
- 2 tbsp curry powder
- 1 tbsp of chilli powder
- 1 tsp of turmeric powder
- 1 tsp of black pepper
- 1 tsp of salt
- 1 tbsp of soy sauce
- 1 tsp of lime juice
- 1 tbsp of coconut oil
- 3 cloves of garlic (minced)
- 1 inch knob of ginger
- 1 tsp of honey (or melted jaggery)
Directions
- Marinate the wings with all the ingredients in a bowl for at least 30 minutes.
- Then, bake at 400°F for 30-45 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.
- Finish with a sprinkle of chopped red long chili, reserved melted jaggery, and sesame seeds for extra flavor and crunch!
