Pumpkin Spiced Chai Latte
Ingredients
- 4 cloves
- 6 cardamom seeds
- ½ inch knob of ginger
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 1 tbsp pumpkin puree
- ½ tsp nutmeg
- 1 cup of water
- ½ cup of condensed milk
- 3 ceylon (black) tea bags
Directions
- In a mortar and pestle, crush cloves, cardamom seeds, cinnamon stick and ginger lightly.
- Boil water, spices, pumpkin puree and tea bags in a pot. After boiling, turn off heat and let it steep covered for 5 mins.
- Turn on heat, add condensed milk and nutmeg.
- Top with whipped cream and powdered cinnamon.
